Brenscheider Mühlen

Am ersten Sonntag unseres Urlaub nahmen uns Freunde auf einen Ausflug zur Brenscheider Mühle mit. Obwohl das Ziel gar nicht so weit von uns entfernt liegt, kannten wir die Örtlichkeit jedoch nicht. So waren wir ziemlich gespannt, was uns erwartet, als wir uns auf den Weg machten, denn wir waren auf der Suche nach neuen Ausflugszielen.

On the first Sunday of our vacation, friends took us on an excursion to the Brenscheider mill. Although the destination is not that far from us, we didn’t know the location. So we were pretty excited about what to expect when we set off because we were looking for new destinations.

Es begann damit, dass unser für Ende Mai geplanter Urlaub ein Reinfall war. Wir hatten Hotels in Südtirol sowie südlich von Livorno gebucht und freuten uns schon auf eine gemeinsame Woche mit unseren Freunden aus Texas. Die Planung war bereits abgeschlossen, was sollte da noch schiefgehen? Es kam alles anders als gedacht, die Coronakrise machte uns einen gehörigen Strich durch die Rechnung.

It all started when our holiday planned for the end of May was a flop. We had booked hotels in South Tyrol and south of Livorno and were looking forward to a week together with our friends from Texas. The planning was already finished, what else could go wrong? Everything turned out differently than we thought, the corona crisis really put a damper on our plans.
