In meinem letzten Beitrag zeigte ich Bilder von Schaufensterpuppen auf der Lahnbrücke in Limburg. Vor ein paar Tagen fand ich zufällig ein Video der Deutschen Welle über den Künstler dieser Aktion Dennis Josef Meseg.

Nach dem letzten Trip zum Edersee fiel die Wahl des nächsten Reiseziels auf Limburg an der Lahn. Zwei Kriterien waren besonders wichtig für diese Entscheidung: die relativ geringe Entfernung und die wunderschöne Altstadt. Das Hotel sollte nicht zu weit außerhalb liegen, damit man auch abends noch mal schnell ausgehen konnte. Gesagt, getan und los ging’s. Die Unterkunft lag nahe der Brücke über die Lahn, die Altstadt vis a vis gegenüber. Der Ausblick von der Brücke aus auf den Limburger Dom ist schon sehr malerisch, finde ich.
After the last trip to the Edersee, the next destination was Limburg on the Lahn. Two criteria were particularly important for this decision: the relatively short distance and the beautiful old town. The hotel shouldn’t be too far out so that you could go out again quickly in the evening. No sooner said than done and off we went. The accommodation was near the bridge over the Lahn, opposite the old town. The view from the bridge on the Limburg Cathedral is very picturesque, I think.
